Interpretation, very special, but you have adapted beautifully.
The voice of an angel ….. Happy New Year to you too …. Susan

I knew we were going to get a payoff for having three different versions. :)

I like what’s happening on the bass, and the vocal additions are tasty. I think its cool that you did that much research into the origin of the song before tackling it; because now we know that Auld Lang Syne is the original remix. :-)

Thanks Admiral. I loved Speck’s remix — it really hit me viscerally, and not that my adds necessarily add anything — but it was fun to do!

Thanks for all you share with us! I hope you and yours have a warm, healthy, festive and glorious holiday!

Hey, that works quite well. When I first read that you did this I thought ‘uh oh, I didn’t really leave any room for that’. But, yeah, nicely done.

This is really one of my recent favorite tracks — I think you put the samples together masterfully. And yeah, there really wasn’t much room for a vocal, and I don’t know that my adds necessarily make the song any better — but I just wanted to be part of this party because it was so much fun! (And what a treat to remix YOU!)

Thanks Em. The instrumental bed is all from Speck’s amazing track. I only added the vocals. I’ve been lucky to get some coaching recently from a really great singer! ;-)
