btw - I don’t know if it’s because we’re of a similar age and that kind of thing was more common back then but my mother also lost one. Her first. But the next seven are all still alive and kicking.

A sad story, but with that touch of irony that the passage of time gives us. Something very similar happened in my family. Nice song, very well recorded and arranged. And yes, it does remind me a little of Johnny Cash. Very well done.
