Oh my goodness, Pitx, this is utterly delightful, charming, touching … well, you get the idea! Your wonderful guitar playing feels absolutely right for this lovely song by Panu. You’ve given me quite a thrill! x

Fantastic chords. A bit like a McCartney song. Can’t remember which one. And who cares. This song need no references to other people’s songs. It stands tall and proud on its own merits.

What a compliment! McCartney has made some of the songs that are in my list of best songs ever (yesterday, blackbird, rocky raccoon,…). The real merit is in the composition.
Thanks for reviewing.

I love it. It’s absolutely delightful. Terrific guitar work, and what a respectful treatment of the vocals.

Mmmm.

Ciggi sings in tune and a tempo with a high precision so dress the pella with a guitar has been a thrilling work.
Thanks for the feedback

Beautiful. Incredibly sweet, intimate with an evocative harmonization of this song so that I am taken to the loggia with you, your warm guitar and Ciggi’s dulcet tone, sipping Martini Bianchi and enjoy a balmy summer breeze as I am serenaded by you two.

I tried to find the intimacy, that’s the reason of playing only a guitar.

Ah, can I join to Martini’s sipping in the balmy summer breeze? :)

Great chords Pitx ,I agree with Per about the beatleseque chords, with great choices and deft rhythm against Cig’s lush phrasing. Surely one of Panu’s greatest songs.
Why does Ciggi get the optimistic songs and Panu keeps all those “my baby left me” and “my shoe’s got a hole” kind of songs? Just a thought!
So nice. When Cig makes a million from the Panu back catalog, Panu may be able to buy a new shoe and snare a woman he won’t have to hide the coffee pot from.
They could fly Pitx in from Spain for those smaller in the round concerts.

i offer some of the tender, upbeat stuff to Cig ‘cause she knows just what to do with ‘em. she’s the Brit-bomb!

Can’t imagine Ciggi singing “I have a hole in my shoe just today when my man has gone…”
Thank you

Gorgeous. man, I love the way you play so much. Truly wonderful!

[edit] Just out of curiosity, what are these chords? They’ve got such a great vibe to them!

Thanks for the feedback, I’m glad you like it.
The chords used in the song are:
A - B7 - D7maj - X (D-F-A-B)
I don’t know the name of X; it should be Dm6.

The notes of the thing with armonics:
E (armonic in the 12th fret, 6th string)
D (armonic in the 12th fret, 4th string)
C# (second string)
D (second string)
A chord

How lucky we are to be able to hang out with the two (well 3 if we include the original pell-writer) of you. You pegged the intimacy, really really nice feelings here. Made my ears all warm in my headphones. Nice work.

You are simply a wonderful guitar player!

Wonderful accompainment! This must have been an edpick for my opinion!

A deserved edpick!!

Wow! thank you, thank you. IMO this mix lacks of a technical production (EQ, masterizing, etc.) that could support an ed. pick. Your comments are what I truly appreciate.

really a terrific song, and so well executed by both of you. Moira, are you familiar with linda thompson? your singing really reminds me alot of her (and pitx your playing reminds me of richard as well)

Don’t know who’s richard but i will get information about him. I would like to play like Vicente Amigo, but I know that that is impossible. Don’t lose three notes to say i love you.
Thank you.
