The D Train intro is cool, with its dark ambient nods and train-sound field-recording feel.

I like the way the sonics play in my headphones.

I’m fond of experimental material. Yet by 1:25, I’m longing for a bit more song and a bit less experiment. It’s not that there’s anything wrong with this approach—it’s just that you’ve got enough rhythm and potential here that you could introduce some melodic drones and do more than create a kind of invented transit tour through hypothetical mass transit.
A http://www.darkwinter.com artist might take these samples and turn them into an incredible dark ambient joy. But this mix seems plot-bound on the subway, rather than taking these samples and realizing things with more potential.
Yet I like that you set out to do something different here, and on the terms you defined, I think you succeeded.
