I like the way you build from a minimal beat into a more substantial beat. It would be cool to hear a melodic atmospheric pad over this.

The percussion approach you adopt still has a fair bit of life in it, because it’s got a clean sound and it’s never so repetitive as to be boring.

It would work well, of course, with a good hip hop vocal. In this sense, although it is a remix, it is less a remix than a remixed sample.

I like it, even though it might benefit from being less spare in the final analysis. Yet minimalism can be fun.

I really like it - the sounds work well and the rhythm/arrangement keeps throwing up surprises.
