the beat, the mournful keys, the lugubrious voice ! Listening back the fraction part of the lyric (half of a tenth etc) doesn’t work properly, he gave less than 0.05% of his fortune, best, Martin and look here how covid affected the ultra-rich |

thanks a lot for your comment :) The article you linked says it all… But I’m still not sure, if greed is not just a conditio humana. Would be interesting to see what a “normal” guy does when you give him a 100 billion dollars. Then he shows his true nature… New laws can’t fix problems inside our soul. I try not to get too much into politics although I do think a billion dollars or more is way more than any one person needs. That is just my humble opinion of course.
I like the music and vocal combo. I think the vocals came in a little high but you were probably going for that effect. |

Yeah, I guess a billion dollar should be enough for everyone…but who controls this, what about personal freedom etc. It always boils down to the power structures. Somehow we managed it since thousands of years to screw it up again and again. Seems to be a (impossible?) hard problem to solve. The vocals are very loud, I wanted to be sure that the text is audible on headphones and loudspeakers. Maybe I exaggerated. For a club version the voice would be too loud. Mixing it right is always tricky for me :) |
