Really beautiful track!
Modern and smooth RnB ballad, tasty and well arranged. Congratulations on making the backvocals new. It_s completely well done and surprising to hear another colour of voice in between the strong vocals of Songboy3. “It sounds like that” good for my taste! It_s more than pity that this fabulous idea of founding a collaboration came that late. Probably to late for having a real chance in the MI7 Realworld contest!? It would mean to start a huge marketing campaign for going into a competition to the leading groups. However you all have deserved a good place in contest and there are still a few weeks for voting. All I can say is: Hey people and musicians on ccmixter, go on and make your votes on MI7 and support our mates Loveshadow, Laswell and Frank Carter, I still have done it! Good luck to you all!! |

Honestly I don’t think these guys really need a big fancy studio, but I agree that if anyone should hang out in that hallowed space, it should be them (with all due respect to the other competitors).
This mix showcases some of the best the three of you have to offer, including stellar production, great vocals, lovely guitar playing and beautiful arranging. Good luck and godspeed gentlemen. |

This is really beautiful. (I mean like a macho type of beautiful of course…ahem!)
No really. Great production on this track LS. It sounds like SB re-recorded the vocals to your music. Great work man! -k |

Well yes its very good but your way back there in your comfort zone which is no bad thing when you can produce quality like this.
Not sure when your sleeping though and I now feel very geriatric in my output which also is no bad thing I think!! Good luck in the comp but a word of advice! I would buy some string wax (Dunlop Ultraglide?)and redo that guitar part as I find the string noise a little too off putting. Great work again though and I take my Fedora off to you!! |

I think this is absolutely fabulous. Great balance to the track. Good use of FX without being cluttered.
Lovely interplay between vocals and instruments Great work. |

Awesome as usual, the only non-positive I can think of is that b/c it’s very harmonically complex, it doesn’t seem to “settle” easily, but that’s probably just a one-listen 1st impression, a few more times and I’m sure I’ll be able to wrap my head around it better ;)

Wow. I just got a chance to read the replies & I just wanted to take the time to say ‘THANK YOU ALL!” for all the kind words you all have had for Jeff, Cameron & myself! It has been greatly appreciated and know that none of your kindnesses have been taken for granted. They are greatly appreciated!!! And Jeff, I didn’t know you could sing, too! Work it, bruh!
