Thanks DCMsc. Not sure about the drums being faster, the whole track would have to be then of course and I think it carries enough energy once all the elements are in.

I agree it sounds slow at the start, but it’s meant to be chilled and trippy. And because it sounds slow to begin with, it seems to pick up tempo later on in the song once all the instruments are in.
