Beautiful mix. The guitar solos are inspired… I love how they work with the vocals… very emotionally compelling.

Thank you for taking the time to listen and offer your feedback! You cannot possibly imagine what it means to me. My initial goal was to try a Cm-Bb-Ab-G song which is a classic progression. I fell in love with the vocals and, to be honest, the pitch shifting scared my every cell. There are parts that it’s not quite there and that was my main concern, not to appear disrespectful to your work.
The guitars were added by the credited good friends of mine, George K, Nectarios and George V. The added vocal line is Devon (LogicPro X) which I cut/trim/paste & rearranged to fit the song.
I am really happy to have joined this team of amazing, generous artists.
Your work here is phenomenal. Greatly appreciated!

very good remix. a bit much reverb on the drums. but that could be intentional. based on your profile photo and the names of your friends, i think you’re of greek descent. and that brings me to michael cretu a european megaproducer who is completely unknown in america. he’s romanian but in the late 90s he once had a greek christian orthodox priest sing backwards in one of his hits. which would bring us back to you.

what was i getting at? your sound and especially your vocals sound like michael cretu’s songs from the late 90s.

not bad. on the contrary awesome.:)

Cheers, Kristian. Spot on, mate. Michael Cretu really left his mark back in the day. Not familiar with the priest story though. Yes, the overuse of reverb was intentional, for every drum channel. Of course, I left the bass drum out.
Thank you for taking the time to listen and comment! Greatly appreciated.

“Elder’s Drinking Song” by Difang & Igay Duana. That’s where from the vocal bridge used in “Return to Innocence” was taken. Cretu was taken to court for he used the sample without the creators’ permission. Interesting story.

Well done, G
Ed Pick!
The song is heavy on reverb but the vibe and groove shine through.
