Hi coruscate, welcome back :)
Any way you can split up that sample? |
.
Unfortunately there isn’t. I’ve been playing extensively with this particular tool. Sometimes I can get it to spit out a true solo instrument, sometimes all I can get out of it is a mixed track.
I could let this one go if it’s an issue, It is a test after all. But as you’ll notice with like the sample pack I made right after it, It feels like about half of the instrumental solos still had percussion in them. |

Hey coruscate, I understand where you’re coming from and that you have the community in mind. My only issue is with the density of discernible parts and how it limits remix potential. If you can recreate at least one individual part of it, even without the tool you’re talking about, I think it would be copasetic :)
Best practices are to upload all the stems you can, but there’s always a chance this could get remixed with vocals or additions. Besides, I don’t want to discourage you from sharing your work :) Another idea is to upload a sample pack of at least the drum kit being used — those are some nice hits after all. Let me know if I can help. Kind regards, Apoxode |

I’m still in the process of getting set back up, but I’ve at least sliced this up so it’s more readily useable and found the BPM for it. I guess when I first responded I was thinking “slice” as in genuinely separate the parts. That I can’t do, but I can chop it.
