Thanks a lot, I felt a little depressed since nobody seemed to like this, what a joy to see 1 review! Bass in the beginning mainly, you mean? (By the way, I can no longer see your uploads, what’s happening? I wanted to repay the compliment with a review on weird..)

How could I miss this! This mix is just fabulous!

It’s fabulous because, first of all, there’s a great musical idea in there and the instrumental parts are all supporting it (the synth-sound is right, the reversed guitars are superb, so forth). Personally, the only thing I could put my finger on is that the drums seem to be too much in the foreground and therefore hiding all this ear candy. I strongly advise you to do a second mix of this piece, experimenting with the balance between the instruments, eq/ reverb/stereo-mono settings on the drums to push them a bit in the background and not take too much space from the other parts. Do that and I’m sure it will get a lot of attention!

Nevertheless, this track is really inspiring as it is - I love it!

Thanks mullion, I am also surprised that you today discover this song, that slipped away almost without notice when it came out. I am listening to all of my posts and thinking here and there to change something, you’re probably right about the drums, they were softer in the mix but came up in surface in the mastering. When I fix this I’ll let you know (I am now working on another project, I think version 2 of my posts will come all together at a later time). Thanks!
