I haven’t heard the original, but drenching the track in delay fx makes it all the more difficult to use in a remix. The delays are timed to a specific time implying a tempo whereas one of the features of working with spoken word is the freedom to play around with tempo.

just a fyi

You’re right of course. I only had the mix down on my laptop and I’ve archived the original. I’ll try to get it off backup. The original is available via the link for those interested.

I found the original on disk and replaced the file. Hope this works for someone. It’s a nice reading of a moving poem.

Gorgeous. Lovely choice of material. Very appropriate melancholy delivery. Good sound quality. I’d really enjoy hearing more vocal contributions from you!

Thanks for the review. I realize this is way off the beaten path for alot of remixers, but there are a few, like yourself, who will take a chance. Besides, the quality of the poem and the quality of the reading are both first rate. All I did was remove the noise.
