I love downbeat treatments because they remind me of chill September days when the leaves fall. Sometimes I think that a key to such days is the sense of quiet peace, rather than a more robust sound. I love the way that even in the most urban setting a dense mix with the right vibe can liberate one from stress and help one find a sense of peace. As I look out at swirling leaves in this mix, the peace I’m seeking is perhaps imperfectly buoyed by the sound levels on the blend of sound, and the cut-out of the track at 1:59. I like the view here, though, and think the questions I have are things resolved by tweaking and not by expressing doubt.

Love the bassline and delayed snare! Nice musical choices, the patches sound great- but I found myself wanting the backing track dropped back a bit and given maybe some hints of reverb, something to open it up a little; as it sits now, it seems to compete with the vox for attention. Again, just my two cents, not saying I could do better!
