What?

Blac Blocs began jamming in early 2007 at the Black Dove social centre on Friday nights. BBs are four men with very busy lives, who enjoy kicking out the jamms together. We drink beer and play rock. We eat. We talk about, and do, activism and art. We laugh and scream. We passionately support human rights, animal rights and social equality. Our music is riot.

Why?

Like all humans, we exist in the deep human ecosystem. Our human connections with the ecoshpere are tangible and crucial. And capitalism is an insidious cancer raping the planet into a useless stenchpit. Corporations and Governments are responsible for much of the toxicity, genocide and human suffering we face daily by millions.

Our band stands up to the selfish-perpetuating, rapacious tyranny behind money and greed. We despise racism, homophobia and any other form of oppression.

Product?

In August 2008 Blac Blocs released a self-titled 7 track CD.

We plan to head back into the studio and have a full length album out in early 2009.
