How I Did It

I used my song "Muscovy Ducklings Strut" from my album "Haunting Voices" on www.disfish.com, which is an attribution/non-commercial license. I added to them the mixter samples referenced in the song.

Process

I reverbed the vocal track and pasted in the other samples, cutting and splicing the Melfi sample a bit.

Other Notes

I created "Muscovy Ducklings Strut" using a wav to MIDI program called Wave Goodbye, and a music notation program called Musedit to get the mildly dissonant melody.

I wanted to give it a different mood and theme. The poem and the samples are combined with the quirky melody in the hope of conveying that mood when she looks at her watch, and knows it has ended.
