Process
I took the "heartbeat" like thumpy beats from the initial 4 bars of Sturzstrom's remix. That one, I looped it as a separate layer and boosted the bass.
Next, I overlaid more of Justin's ambient tracks on top of Sturzstrom's, so sort of blend into the second half of the mix (which was largely Justin's "Citizens Start Your Engines" track.
Finally, as Justin's track ended, I blended it to fade with Sturzstrom's again.
Other Notes
Although you couldn't really hear much of Sturzstrom's remix (unless you know which parts to look out for), I am tickled that the mashup involved MyVanillaWorld as well, who is my bandmate! I would never have thought of including her, if not for Sturzstrom, LOL.
