Tools I Used
Logic express 7 on an iMac, M-audio 49e, all VST instruments except for an electric bass, a cheapo Epiphone electric guitar and a darbuka played with brushes, recorded through a Mackie Onyx 1220. Roland used an Ibanez electric guitar.
Process
First i listened to the original version on Kristin's website and used her chord progressions and added a simple descending scale. I wondered what would happen if i'd intensify the choruses to add some more dynamics. One of many things i can't do is play guitar, so i asked my old friend Roland M. from the Netherlands to replace the main guitar parts. He didn't want to replace the 'solo' though so i had to leave my bit here. In my intro i wrote 'finished', but this version will never be finished cause i keep on coming up with other possibilities. So today i drew a line.
