I was listening to some old incomplete projects gathering dust on the hard drive and found an old song idea that I did with my step daughter Maddy a few of years back.
My only memory of the session was that she wanted to do a big rolling power ballad. Mix Meatloaf with Aguillera sort of thing… This was a sketch of an idea that was never really finished. Built around Zep’s power drums with Maddy singing her brains out. Trying to find the pella… She’s become a nerdy mechanical engineer now, leaving the rock chick persona behind her - let me know if you want me to drag her back into the studio again for stuff like this :) Her voice is much bigger and more controlled these days!
