Mr. Dean Written & Performed by COFFEEEUROPE Last night I dreamt of dreams Of a dark and handsome Peter Pan My valiant my rogue my bliss He was almost 2 feet too tall now And although an 8 ‘o clock hung with age And you’d think he was a pirate a prince or babe None was the case still in that smile of a child of here and then I laughed then smiled then embraced A charm he gives by hiding away in this neverland with no age He told me of his adventures sitting on a glass sheet of lake Of birds that sing dead and clouds way too vain All this I took in daze of a mad world where his smile is cleansing rain Where my dreams are home to a land of wonders where only he reigns Oh how I remember the days when when we met Then it was no dream it was no daze When his hand held mine and lead me blindly into his world World of wonder that needed not to make sense While dreaming of dreams last night I asked him again Do you know you have aged? Do you know you are now tall instead of little and caged? Do you know I stand at the answer to this world where you craze? Where we’re grown and this fantasy is real and not a daze? Do you want to grow with me right this minute when you wake? Tick! Tock! and ring I was up With no valiant no rogue gone was his gaze And soundly he sleeps in the arms of a princess … reality to this craze Tick! Tock!… Play
