Hey now. I have to admit that at first I didn’t know where you were going with this, because I didn’t hear the connection between the piano and the vocals.

And then the bass hit.

And then the drums.

:) :) :)

The bass really is key to glueing the parts together - and once the brass and flute hit later it’s just wonderful. I like this very much. Thanks for letting me be part of it.

I loved it — and I’m stone sober. Thanks for a beautiful listen.

Funny to think we were working with the same sample as the foundation of our separate songs, at the same time. Love your take on it. I took it into different territory; but that just shows the possibilities of this sample.

Really neat take Sub. I like the minimalist approach, keeping it slow and in a quiet restrained space. An interesting place for the pella to sit making it far more intimate. Very nice work. And another fine example of why I like the mixter, because the unexpected can be explored :-).

That qwirky piano is great in this mix!

Wonderful feeling to the piece that whilst a pretty standard song manages to go that bit further.

Nice job!

I’m stone cold sober and I think this is the best thing I have heard in a long while. I adore the feeling of so far away yet so close your production choices have imparted to this song. Just brilliant.

This is really good Sub. Colabs piano sits wonderfully and you sold me on the flute. Its the sort of mix where you wait for the the other instruments to come in and when they do - they deliver and never disappoint.
Cool

Eh up, I’m late to the party on this one. Liking the more ‘live’ direction you’ve taken of late - Great mix of sounds - love the soft brushes, superb.

If you watch(ed) television (and I do), then you might come to imagine that music is all about who sings the most original karaoke covers or makes the music most acceptable to the most people, particularly those who know how to use toll call lines and the iTunes store.

One might even forget that the beauty of remix culture lies not in its ability to render hip covers with guile-filled beatz, but instead lies in its ability to drop the pretense and make music which seeks to connect with the listener in a different place—not always an untrod path, but never just mowing the same bermuda grass.

This piece puts a hint of lush wild garden in places a less capable remixer might have settled for a fertilized lawn

Very very late here!

It needs a master to take a few parts of a puzzle and melt them together with a special glue!

Tasty work and a well deserved EDP!
