Yah, it’s cliche techno-trance, and? The vocals without the vocoding totally don’t fit with the rest of the vibe. I say nix ‘em.

well, in answer to future boy’s post…yes, it is a bit cliche’, and yes i agree that the vocals wouldnt have been my choice either…but both of these were done for a reason…first, i wanted to see if i could take the original song and remix it into a common type trance song…something recognizably trance. this is not usually something that i try to do, but it’s a remix. the rap vocals i just included to stay close to the original song, since it is a remix…if it departed too much from the original, no one would know it’s a remix…but hey, i appreciate the critique : )

i liked it a lot, shockshadow. i love trance and your mix was the only trance remix of this i’ve heard - a nice change.

Yeah but I knew it would be good. Seriously though great work on the vocoder. Excellent use of the pad samples. Trance lives on. Good job.
