Your vocals and words are great, I often think of Springsteen when I hear your vox, that love-in-the-big-city nightime vibe, a lot of feeling— and melancholy.

The basic chords structure is from big river, the meaning of lyrics has been stimulated by the proposed theme, but there is more to it, I guess in your way of writing melodies, with short and long sentences, very effective. The sound also has been cured. Great pop tune.
