Ahh - yes, this works very nicely, thank you. :)

I love the guitar work - really makes me think of Sylvian’s “Gone to Earth” album - the guitar play is fantastic and really tastefully layered on top.

I love it. Thanks.

I also like this. I know “gone to earth”, yet this seems to me an original piece. Your own quote to the twilight theme in the end might have been skipped, and the song still would be nice to hear throughout.
What is, tabla, in between? Nice touch.

Yes, it’s a tabla. I tend to use percussive effects from different cultural angles. Thanks for listening and leaving a comment, Carosone.

BTW, I really need to listen to “Gone to Earth”. Never heard David Sylvian before.

It seems like you guys are playing in the same room, with someone else in the corner painting a landscape.
Great guitar Ivan against a very well considered Colab canvas.
Nice

sound engineering is great! that vibrato guitar is stellar!!

Thanks MC Jack in the Box. Totally agree that the vibrato guitar part is the star of the song. That’s entirely colab’s work (1:45min to 2:20min). I wanted it to be the chorus of the song. My aim was to have colab as a co-performer and not just “supplying a stem”. This part was difficult for me, as it was far easier to just whack a lead guitar over everything (easier but not necessarily nicer sounding).

I don’t even consider this song as “my song”. I merely built my additional guitars on the foundations colab laid out. In the end I decided to say that it featured the two of us, which is closer to the truth.

Excellent remix Ivan. I reaffirm about the sensitivity and quiet of your music. I love the tranquility provided by the mix. Congrats.

Your added guitar playing is brutal nice!
A very fine re-remix of Master Colab_s track.
