I too had this on the old DL. I really like your progression, and the way the phrasing changes as the music gets heavier. I cannot really picture Mr. Stewart singing it, but it has that kind of sad, hardened quality of good Stevie Nicks, before she twirled herself off stages in drunken pandamonium. Plus your voice is much more pure than hers. All in all a very nice, wistful treatment.

It’s a great instrumental isn’t it. And yeah I can totally hear Stevie Nicks. Wouldn’t that have been the bomb! I’d kill for a voice like hers.

Thanks:-)

I’m glad to see someone else has used Durden’s fine piece of music.

I like the flat sounding vox ( I mean sounding not note wise!)which goes well with the emotional music.

And yes please put the vox up as a pella as I’m sure it has lots of potential

Thank you. I’ll put up the vox as soon as I can. And yes it is a bit flat….but worse it is a lot warbly. I still havent’ got the hang of belting things out. :-)

A beautiful song and the vocals fit perfectly. I personally would have liked them a bit louder in the mix when the song itself gets louder. And who needs Rod Stewart anyway.
