Very smart ‘pella. Suitable for any number of remix renderings. It’s poppy but at the same time cynical enough to be cool, if that makes any sense.

Thank you. And it makes perfect sense. I was going for a combination of “tongue and cheek”, a bit of “foot-in-mouth” and a shade of bubblegum “pop”. Which is also an apt description of this collective :)

I’m in love with this. You’re an amazing lyricist. The guitar really helps imagine the groove of this track.

I love it.
I was looking for a 120bpm track for a lyrics on-screen project and found this, love that lyrics are the feature in fourstones remix. under appreciated pella in my opinion. Here are the lyrics as I hear them.

“Walk On” by Narva9

on my knees
on a bus you’re
wearing a suit but no shoes
watching the world through bubbled glass
a million people pass by
walk on and then disappear

(repeat X2)
where am I going
where am I going
where have they gone
how do I get there form here?
walk on

the shelves of capitol records are empty
and the music‘s no more
we’re deaf and dumb,
deaf and dumb
we’re all deaf and dumb
the rythum bores
so sing a song in my ear
tell me your story dear
hey what’s your game?
sing a song in my ear
tell me a story dear
hey what’s your game?
walk on

the sounds in my brain
don’t match what I hear
it’s all processed here
hip hop hip hop hippity hop
does that make it clear
shout to the wind
raise your fist
bang that drum
pray to the sky that someone will hear
and let the revolution come
walk on (repeat x 4)
