I was slightly inspired by the Cure on this…and the whole English pop goth rock scene during that time. I guess it came through, that bittersweet longing vibe.

Thanks. The hardest part was making the vocals fit into an already produced mix. I tried using the stems but I ended up just using the original. I’m glad it fit in well enough for a listen. I’d remix the whole thing from the beginning if I had the chance.

Love this track! It reminds me of days driving up the coast in a convertible, feeling uplifted just by seeing the ocean.

I see a sunset in my mind was searching for lyrics…and the whole song came from that.
Now i see stones skipping on the water. For me this remix is one of those rare ones that I can listen to without a lot of self criticism. It works. Thanks for listening! |
