I’ll be honest that I start to cringe when I see the addition of thunder,rain etc in a mix (even though necessity and insistent clients force me to include these in some of my work!!)

But I must say that I do like this. I think it must be the combination of the vox and the guitars that gives the piece that added dimension.

Nice work that had me reaching for the umbrella!!

I’d would need a few more listens here, but if i’m completely honest, for me personally, I don’t feel the vox goes with the music, it just seems too fast and doesn’t really feel one with the music. That said, i think the guitar work here is nothing short of excellent, i image it being the sound track some a movie filmed in the desert or somewhere dusk. My personal feeling is that the music (guitar and thunder mix) is just far too good to have non fitting vox draped on top.
