I love the simplistic strength of your introduction and song title. I agree it seems ridiculous that our culture is stuck in such a backwards stage. your mix, however, is anything but stuck or backwards. this is absolutely one of your best mixes yet Alex. did you play all of those synth parts? a great production of Kara’s song. i feel more free just listening.

I played the electric piano and bass parts on the iPad. The drums are GarageBand’s smart drums with some tweaks from me.

Pretty much did this whole mix on the iPad actually, aside from some mastering at the end.

You did this on an iPad? Wow - this is awesome. I’ve had trouble doing something this cool a proper workstation! I guess art can happen on any device!

First, thank you for being an ally. Second… awesome. Your mix allows the words to breath… nice dynamics throughout. So cool that this is an iPad mix… I especially dig the bridge… it has a hopeful sense to it (which I really am). Thank you so much.

I’m glad you like it.

I’m a Voluntarist

In other words I think Married LGBT couples or even polygamous groups should be able to defend legal marijuana crops with assault rifles.

It would be nice If we could end that whole system of aggression we call taxes to.

But in the meantime eliminating the discrimination in the protection racket is a good first start.

Haha… your beliefs seem to line up with mine even more than I realized. I actually believe that all marriages shouldn’t be recognized by governments at all… But yeah, ya’ gotta start somewhere and this is a fight the general public is starting to understand. Of course, it’s kinda hard to explain in a song… ;)

Lovely accompaniment to Kara’s song.

Its the skill of the artist, not the medium, after all a lot of Michaelangelo’s sketches are in red chalk.

Your melody fits very well with Kara’s voice. I like the way you kept it reasonably spare and let the vocals do the talking.

When the track started, I kept waiting for your guitars…Then I read the description and how you produced the track…and then the lyric…and the conversation in the comments…and I now think this arrangement is perfect! and I am utterly and completely impressed with how you produced it!
