Wow. I would’ve never thought I would hear this style coming from your studio, Lang. Sounds like you’re expanding your pallete a bit. Very nice groove. I’m digging the throb you got going on…Good Job!

Now this is a complete surprise. It’s like I’m hearing the vocals for the first time. Incredible treatment.

Love the instrumentation and production. Clean as anything, and catchy as hell.

Thanks Wellman.
I did every thing in Record. I love this program (haven’t touched pro tools since i got it)
By the fill you mean that little drum roll…Right?? It’s a rex file from Reason. Vocals on the hook were done with a guitar efx from Record.
The guitars are his, i just added some efx to give them that electric rock groove. I added the bass, some synths and my own guitar from Record.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you everyone else for your kind words.

this sneaks up on you:

First you think, ahh that’s a bit different for Mr. Lang.

Then half way thought the song you find yourself subtly bobbing your head without really noticing.

And then you hum along.

And tap your toe.

And then it’s over, and you’re like the little kid that just got off the carousel. “Again, again!”

So you hit the play button again…

Both way up!

J.Lang you are a master. The effect on the vocals in the chorus bring the song out of the earnest rock space into an area that has more far more energy and edge, while still maintaining the original spirit of the lyrics. Thank you,

Your grooves are always a treat. As mentioned, this is a bit surprising but I think there is always a bit of “rocker” even in a rnb/soul/hiphop/ producer and dj!

I always knew you had a wide-ranging taste in music, so this flavor was perhaps less surprising to me than some other reviewers- but always nice to see you prove you can keep it crispy-clean no matter the style!
