I like what you have done here but i am not to sure if you are using samples here or playing these keys . A little closer attention to the vocal harmonies and chord choices would have made this a really cool mix.
I just feel the vocal separtion at times jars a little. |

Thank you for critism. I wanted the chorus part that different to the line. I do love it. Will check later in my Studio if i change something here and there. The only Sample/Loop is the Vocal-line.
Edit: V2 should solve the Harmonic-Problem |

Agreed, the pads are really stunning. The harmonic movement is pretty and surrounds the vocals beautifully. I like the production on the pads and beats. the e-piano performance is quirky, but does not detract from the overall song at all.

Beautiful music bed. There are a couple parts where the vocal melody clashes with the chord structure but if you fixed that you’d have a real winner on your hands. Sorry it took me this long to listen! : )

Many thanks for your reply. I wonder what you mean with the disharmonies. To me its ok. Only the chorus part, where the vocal is doubled should be a problem.. maybe its me and my abstract pleasure within harmonies?! ;)

i’m busy at this moment for my new project called: TALE OF MEN (TOTO SWISS TRIBUTE BAND) first concert april2009…. and you know we will move to another city in march….. i will have more space for my equipment..so..i’m ready then for more :) ps: or i pack all my stuff in my car, and come to your homebrew studio ^^ |
