smashing track, LS. takes me back to mini-skirts, tight suits & ankle boots. for me, this is the epitome of the ‘english sound’.

This takes me back to when us yanks fell in love with the 2nd wave of British music! The sound you created for this has created a bit of nostalgia for me. Very, VERY cool!

Stellar. You grabbed my heart and swung it around, and around and around with the sweeping keys, and your treatment of the vocals in which I hear a new sweetness to Ciggi’s oh-so-lovely voice. And your harmonies are terrific!

Warm and sweet just like my favorite snack - a pop tart - but Cigg’s no tart, she’s a classy one..:-) Nice to hear the old pipes are still working :-).

Now Michael Jackson is out of the way maybe it’s time to crown a new King of Pop … bow your head Sir…

That voice must have a musical perfection, and here is still the case. Really a very good arrangement ….

Impressive mix of vocals, harmonies and instruments, I got really scared about so much perfectionism…
Excellent, excellent, excellent…

A great mix of this panu’s “forever-hit”. All is in its place and well balanced and what I think is the most important, the respect of the feeling that comes from Ciggi.

Rainy days when the air’s chill is offset by the sun peaking out on the horizon. The smell of a bread factory at 7 a.m. The sound of a doorbell in a patisserie, just before a sweet French voice says “bon jour!” in a bell-like tone.
The plush red seating at the kind of restaurant with wood panels where a nice man smiles at you and says “dinner, or snack?”. Marigolds at Kew Gardens. The sight of a train leaving, carrying your special friend away, but you know you said a fond farewell, and it’s all right.

You got it in one.

But also finding her note in your pocket after shes left, opening the box with the ring still in it,raindrops ruining the last three digits of the phone number she gave you, seeing the glimpse of someone from behind and then turning to see its someone else, going to the park bench alone in the fall where you first met in the summer.

I’ve only just been able to get to this - no Internet connection for 12 hours! Disaster.

Anyway, it was worth the wait because this is an absolute treat. Thank you, LS, for a wonderful early Christmas present! xxxx

wow, this is just so well put together it’s scary. listening to this made me think morrissey/smiths/cure with the arrangement, and when you come in and harmonize w/cig it just meshes so nicely. and just a great, well written, well performed pop song. seriously, this could be a hit.

Very nostalgic song.. as others already mentioned. I just felt that sometimes the male voice was too in front…The “ooohs” and “ahhhs” sound really good! Well Done boy!

LOL i get comments saying my backing isnt loud enough now its their too loud.

Anyhow too `in front’ in terms of overall balance or the fact that Ciggi isnt singing/i.e cant be heard as they are new and not in her accapella ?

Hehehe it’s funny how perception is unique in everyone!

It is a personal opinion. I would have put down a little bit the male voice in certain parts where Ciggi and you are together. But that’s just my humble opinion. I do think this song is very good just the way it is. It’s always nice to hear your music :-)

Excellent. The backing vocals are fine. Levels are equal, but it works.
