Enjoyed playing along with your guitars. Thanks for the welcome back, once again. I’m finding it hard to stay consistent :)

Is it me, or does this song has that 70s feel?

Definitely retro, my friend. Thanks for listening!

I love the guitar break, and the lyric is brilliant. Don’t think it is unoriginal at all, though your lyrics have no bugs or astronauts in them (bonus point for toxins and brains, however!)

Hahaha… Admiral :) Yes, this strays from my normal lyrical fare. Nothing fantastical here; Just real life.

I don’t think it’s unoriginal either. There’s always the FB voice that ensures that FB sound. You could probably do a Celine Dion cover and it would still sound like a Fireproof Babies composition. I think this mix is great. Uncomplicated prime classic pop.

“Every heart has an expiration date.” Great line! And despite your qualification about the “originality” of this track — you put it all together in your inimitable and unique FB Babies way.

Susan-
The tile sounds very county to me. There’s probably already a song with that line of which I’m unaware. Very pleased you like it :)

I Googled it as a phrase and only your song came up - I think that makes it unique!

There were songs with the same title but none had the same line or exact idea

My dreary october afternoon has been transformed by this … “i notice little things, i can see patterns” so very very good.

I do notice little things and see patterns, when I’m paying attention, that is ;) Thanks for listening!

The retro 70s Frampton-like rhythm sounds great, FB. Cool lyrics a well.

Awesome song. Awesome lyrics. I agree with everyone else… not unoriginal at all. Sure… love, heartbreak… so many songs about it… But you did it with a comical flare.
