i’ve been a bedroom dj for a long time. i do my mixes on my computer but recently i purchased some stanton cdjs. i also own turntables but never got around to buying many vinyls, it’s quite expensive to ship them to nz. i spend a lot of my time these days, playing around with music, changing beats, adding vocals, re-editing etc. it’s such a interesting hobby to me, it always keeps me entertained. i’ve even tried doing online radio stations. i’m now starting to get into producing music and over time i will be buying some software and hardware to help me get the sound i want. i always say to myself that one day i will make a killer track that will earn me some recognition in the clubbing world. hopefully it will come true =)
i love all music, there is nothing i don’t like. i don’t seem to follow any trend. like you have the teenage rock/pop/punk people. also known as ‘emos’ and then there is the ‘gangstas’ as they call themselves, listening to hiphop and rap. all of which i like, but i don’t dress or act like them. i’m just me, a normal 18 year old. my idol is diffenatly sasha. he is a god in my eyes. the way he morphed those tracks on involver, it’s still my #1 cd. i’ve heard a lot of good music in 2007. i used to be a trance addict but since breakbeat/electro stepped into my life, i sometimes see trance, as all the same crap. like tiesto, great guy but theres about 7 songs of his that seems to all sound almost the same.
