It sounds strange but I’ve had more success ripping tracks to aiff in my Mac with an app called Amadeus, importing them into Final Cut Pro’s nonlinear editing environment and scooting the color bars with their waveforms visible along the gannt chart until the peaks match. And I play a Drum Buddy, Mr. Quintron’s über-rare light-activated oscillating optical theremin, moog and drum emulator.
