All recorded with Mics- everything played live on real instruments- nothing sampled.
Process
My process is I start with the groove with a track like this- percussion first, then bass, then kit, then the icing on the cake, some guitar some voice, additional noises and instruments. With this song, all the performances were early takes, all improvised. This piece was all improvised in the studio.
Other Notes
This song is about that feeling when your just in your groove and feeling good about your world. You are the vibe merchant and your giving out those good vibes to everything that is. Its tribal upbeat and trippy.
