Uses samples from:

Tools I Used

Reaper [reaper.fm], Audacity

Samples I Used

Portions of Sunrise vocals by shannonsongs.

Original Samples

"Guitar drone chord" uploaded as Angles11_-_Tangerine_Sunrise_4.mp3.
Also, not "original", Vocals main, harmony, and mixed uploaded as extra files 1,2, and 3, but these are simply shannon vocals altered.

Process

Midi guitar is a "Yellow Tools Independence Free" patch, split into seperate left and right channels, with "Juicy 77 High Gain Electric Guitar Amplifier" [bteaudio.com] applied to each channel, then whacky compression by a Reaper JS plugin.
Vocal harmonies created by chopping up the vocals (all apologies to shannon!) and altering the pitch.

Other Notes

Rendered a "mastered" (hardly) WAV file in Reaper at 81 bpm. Loaded that into Audacity and sped it up to 86 bpm. Additionally, all sorts of random Hard Limiter, Normalize, Reverse, Cur and Paste went on to result in this Tangerine Sunrise.
