Sometimes I lose hope in humanity and the destruction we are wreaking upon our beautiful earth and its inhabitants — all for what? For a few little pleasures? Can we give up a few of those little things for the forests, animals, oceans and each other? Why does it seem so hard to change? I feel trapped in our system that I know is destroying us all. It hurts.

My way of coping is music. This song comes from the very deepest, grieving part of me that hopes to be better, change and heal. I want to evolve!
