I am not sure where you are from.
http://www.publicknowledge.org They cover the situation in the States nicely. http://www.cb-cda.gc.ca/unl... Canada provides a licensing scheme for orphan works. IANAL and mileage may vary by location. *meow* |

1. Do NOT take legal advice from a forum on the web
2. Do NOT use material in any form that you don’t have permission to do so. VS |

Any idea how should i do it? I would suggest starting by checking out your government copyright office: http://www.ipos.gov.sg/main... They offer a program to get your questions answered by IP professionals: http://www.ipos.gov.sg/main... If they cannot answer your concerns, your best bet is to contact an advocate who is licensed to handle those legal matters in your location. (Contacting a legal professional regarding questions of law is always a good idea.) Good luck finding the information you require! Again, IANAL and I would recommend speaking to a legal professional. *meow* |
