This may be a silly question to ask but here goes. Is a audio clip of a line from a film covered by copright? For example Darth Vader saying "I am your Father" or James Bond saying "Bond, James Bond". Could I post a music sample including a phrase like that? Or would that be uploading copyrighted material?

my guess is that star wars and james bond are ‘all rights reserved’ which means you would need to get permission from the owners to do anything at all with any piece of it.
