I’m thinking of turning https://vitne.bandcamp.com/album/jupiter into an atmospheric blackened doom metal album. I don’t want to re-record anything other than the vocals (although it people are interested in collaborating, I’m happy to have someone do some rerecording). Does anybody have any tips on manipulating the stems? I use Linux, and would plan to use free software for the editing. I haven’t really started on the project. I’ve never done anything like this and I’m not sure where to start.
