I am not 100% certain that this is not a bug so I am going to ask in this forum.
I have been going over the documentation provided at http://ccmixter.org/query-api as well as http://ccmixter.org/commands/ and have thus far been unable to determine if the current API allows for the following functionality: 1. User registration 2. User authentication 3. User media uploads Everything I have found is to force the use of one account for the media upload functionality. This seems somewheat limited to me as most API’s I have ever worked with that allowed for any upload allowed also for user registration and authentication. Any help, resources, tips about implementing a robust ccMixter service from another front end is appreciated! |

Currently the API is read only. If you visit our search engine site dig.ccMixter.org you’ll see what is possible to build using our API as it is. We have it on our future wish list to make it writeable. Cheers.
