very original (& very cool!) - I really, really love the chords & chord voicings you chose.

One thing I’d do different is to add some dynamic contrast (some…er…"highs and lows" :) - the track sounds dynamically very flat - I’m pretty new to remixing, but if you’re using software, I believe the ole’ envelop tool could help add some crescendo, decresceno, etc. to good effect

REALLY cool track though - I can tell you worked hard on it. You’ve inspired me to try something like this sometime (maybe soon).

Thanks for the input. Yes, after snipping ca. 50 audio events out of Lisa’s vocal track, spreading it over 11 Audio Tracks, doing all the EQ/Pan/Balancing stuff, I was too tired to really care about dynamics. I take it as an encouragement to go over it once more.

Nice idea. It reminds me of chorals & gregorians. Congrat.

There’s just no part of that sentence that maps to my world —- I can honestlysay that’s a combination of words that will never be coming out of my mouth lol

The voice is indeed a musical instrument, and you’ve played it well here. The chorus effects really help make this piece work. The chopping and moving of the vocal snippets really works well.

The percussion is to me the most problematic part. They’re good, mind you, very good—this whole thing is good. But I don’t feel that the percussed voices are as effective as the rest of the piece.

But my hat’s off to you. A solid, interesting piece.
