Must admit I have prejudices but who hasn’t. When I pressed play I expected an Ohio Players beat but this is something different. There are funk elements in it obviously but this is poppier than usual. A very pleasant listen.

This kind of reminds me of 10cc’s I’m Not In Love. That came to me while I was trying to determine whether or not I like strings in pop/funk/blues/rock. Generally not. But I like this.

Interesting analogy 10cc. I general don’t know what to do with strings and using them is usually a disappointment. This song is a kitchen sink mix so the orchestral samples got thrown in the sink with the rest ‘:0)
