A crazy cacophony of rasta bugs, psycho organists, nuclear powered horns and little green men with lasers in their pockets.
Love it ! |
.
Thanks, Scomber. Crazy cacophony is right!

I love ska music, love the prominence of trombones and trumpets, the skank, etc.
So I’m thrilled to find all of the signature characteristics of the genre here, and yet it still leaves lots of room for freshness. And it doesn’t sound chopped up at all…. but rather like a ska band down at the all-ages show on a hot day! |
.
Thanks, Admiral. Glad you think it holds together like a ska party band.

Well, you know what I think. Extremely tight and high-powered production. And a very fun listen.

Hey it’s amazing how you used ‘No bans’ vocals, so far from the original context ;)
Well done. We put a link to the track on our Facebook : http://www.facebook.com/LCL... |

Thanks for listening, commenting and linking, LCL

Listened to Volatil’s No Bans. “Far away from the orginal context” is a reasonable assessment.

Thanks, AT.
Wrt how I did it, not much more to say than what is on the detail page: (1) used FL Studio v9 (2) routed Volatil’s voice through Ozone’s Alloy plugin (3) routed Scomber’s voice through Vocodex plugin |

I just bounced out of my chair! Fantastic production and arrangement! Love the back and forth feel. It really works well and of course the horns are there lol!
