Excellent and very well said. I think the Christmas commercials and promotions appeared in my home town in September last year. In fact it seems to me that in England, Halloween, Bonfire Night, Christmas/Yule and New Year/Hogmanay are all rolled into one overlapping tacky festival that I call “Bon-Hallow-Yule-Manay”. Your singing is really good now. It’s as if there’s a different confidence in your voice these days. I love that more and more producers have started to use their often very personal voices in their work. It’s a great progress for this place.

First your voice, just hits that sweet spot, rich and plummy like Christmas Pudding. Then the tune is the cream on the top and that beautiful ironic spiked twist like a sprig of holly.
