You have a Bing Crosby thing going on… a very pleasant voice.
I wish it were not winter yet, but sadly, I live in Canada. :) |

You have such a cool voice, Speck. I really look forward to hearing where this goes remix-wise. And of course, as a critic of the massive consumerism that goes on this time of year, the lyrics are just my sort o’ thang.

Would this be your first vocal upload? You sound mellow.

There have been a few others. A couple of my favorite mixes from which are colab’s Ten Dollar Toy Guitar and annabloom’s Less So Lessness.

Love! Love! Love! Directly and eloquently said. Brilliantly written and wonderfully sung. Bravo my dear Speck!

Excellent and very well said. I think the Christmas commercials and promotions appeared in my home town in September last year. In fact it seems to me that in England, Halloween, Bonfire Night, Christmas/Yule and New Year/Hogmanay are all rolled into one overlapping tacky festival that I call “Bon-Hallow-Yule-Manay”. Anyway, great pella!

Should be required listening for all ages! If I get some time today I may run some of these comments back through the windows translator and see if they can possibly get more weird.

Your singing is really good now. It’s as if there’s a different confidence in your voice these days. I love that more and more producers have started to use their often very personal voices in their work. It’s a great progress for this place.
You should be glad for the commerce, as you know it’s what keeps America (and Europe for that part) floating. I’ve got a slogan for all of you over there: Help save US of A, blast your creditcard limit every day! Mmm…I like it. |

You’re stealing words right out of everyone’s minds 8^) the holidays come too early commercially. I will love remixing this.

i never knew you have such a lovely singing voice. your lyrics really speak to me — the christmas music and promos that started so early this year were really annoying. i wish we humans weren’t stupid….at least your song is intelligent :)

Very nice, Sir. I love the message, and the voice. I’m trying to build a weird mix.

Speck, you’ve been hiding your rich-toned, hot chocolate voice around the back of the Christmas tree - which isn’t up yet because it’s still November. Love the dry wit flowing along on your smooth croon. Somebody better bloody mix this soon or else!

First your voice, just hits that sweet spot, rich and plummy like Christmas Pudding. Then the tune is the cream on the top and that beautiful ironic spiked twist like a sprig of holly.
Wonderful! |
