I trawl the samples on ccmixter and put things i like in a folder which i look at now and then. i was absolutely delighted to hear these 2 pieces fitting so well ( almost perfect to my ears )I love the sober optimism of Donnie Ozone’s words so I folded it into the mix. Not sure tho, if I really do the words justice, so I m uploading an instrumental version too. Thanks for your beautiful solo ! Best, Martin

Beautifully done. That’s a great remix, Martin. All the parts are really alive, both individually and as a whole. Boy that sounds pretentious. I know what I mean, even if I’m not saying it very well.

All three stems are so good ! For me, the piano’s like the waves above which a seabird flies (tp) —and the vocal is the wisdom of the ocean.
I didn’t do anyhting, I just got lucky. I didnt change any of the stems except for compression and a touch of reverb. Thanks for your review ! Best, Martin |
