You would probably not be surprised, if I were to say I am not at all surprised at how great this turned out. You did a fabulous job working with the samples, and the rap lemds a great energy to this timely track. Once again Emily, terrific work! You should be proud of yourself!

There should be a secret mixter between occupy and wall street. Would be interesting to have occupy mind in place of investment bankers and vice versa :)

Careful attention to balance, emotional construction very effective and fitting. Equal parts fist-pumper, passionate poetry, and tasty electro-landscape. I will likely listen to this for breakfast for a couple months. More awesome than I hoped it would be, thanks so much for working with us Emily & Jason (& basematic)! I can e-mail the intended lyrics if you would like, but I like what you heard too!

please send the lyrics yes!! i tried transcribing them as best i could, but was hoping you would provide them. oh, and i forgot to thank you for providing extra loops and sounds for the mix too — so thank you!

i listened to your words soo many times, i truly love them. i feel like i’ve gained insight into your soul and higher mind — and i feel even more kindred than before. the gift of music is amazing!

so happy you like it!!

Great stuff. I like how you never miss an opportunity to write great original material out of your project, as you’ve one so often. The looping arpeggios set up a great beat for both the rapping and the hook - rhythmic enough for the former, and melodic enough for the latter.

Invigorating. Goosebump inducing. I love how it starts with piano and your voice… and develops into an exciting beat-driven, rocking rap. Yeah- awesome remix, Snowflake.

How cool. Did you grow up with tales about their journey?

yes, none as direct as your poetry here. however, you’ve inspired me to write about their stories with a bit more artistry added to the history. so thanks for that! :)

OK, so let’s say for the time being we don’t exactly analyze the words, but simply understand the emotional content of the message and how that’s conveyed in the mix. Wow! This whole tune is complex and symphonic in it’s scope, and the different voices so powerful. And yes, the bass is a sonic kick up the…

Great mix Emily! Wouldn’t even like to call it a re mix. Great track!
Deep, dark, progressive. All elements engaged against the ruling system.
Nice.

Offcourse you are the one to take something as a secret mixter and turn it into something for the good cause ;) And is it possible that I hear another entry for spiral??

Well I think it’s all been said in previous comments. It’s a beautifull song a theme song for the movement as someone said. Keep them coming (not to many cause I cant keep track)
