I am extremely torn here.
I think you have the makings of a terrific track here, but you’ve made your work considerably harder than it should be by using that particular vocal record (which he even himself says suffers from “Wandering Key and Tempo Syndrome”). I do very much like the instrumental idea here and I think that it would be much, much better as an instrumental track. |

Ah, did you have a hard time thinking of how to offer a critique without hurting my feelings? LOL. No need to be torn! Yeah, the pell was quite a challenge to dice and splice. Don’t think I nailed it as much as I would’ve wanted to, but I attribute it to my skills rather than the pell. Still, I have to credit the pell for making me think about the Greensleeves folk song. Which eventually made me decide to try this modern day interpretation. As always, I appreciate your constructive comments. I’ll think about the instrumental track idea. Thanks!

I can only say that I enjoyed this. I can’t say why for sure, and I’m sure that I’m more than a bit biased in the matter, but I’m glad you made this.

I love the idea and the instrumental. I think I agree with Colab’s review re: the vocals. The vocals are a little quiet in the mix.I should have recommended it when I used the sample in ‘It’s over now’.
