An excellent mix. You’ve managed to make the music as captivating and detailed as the vocals without detracting from or overpowering them. Actually it would take quite a bit to overpower such a dramatic reading. It’s unusual, and I do so like the unusual.

I was going to say I like this, but then “like” doesn’t really cover what I mean; because the vocals are tricky and almost unsettling - yet you’ve created a very musical and respectful setting for them that balances it out.
So. I rate this three Swingline staplers. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

an astounding field recording of Cherry’s voice & an equally astounding musical track to back it up.

The vocals started out as those on the last track of Trey Gunn’s Third Star album, but then it took a completely different direction. You have managed to create an interesting backing track without getting in the way of Cherry’s vocals. Splendid!

Cherry has an amazing stage presence…and a chameleon like ability to adapt a characterization.
Her spooky evocation is brilliant in the “Prostitute’s Ghost” recitation. You did a wonderful job creating a dramatic musical backing too R.T.! |
