A great piece of writing, i don’t know whose doing it all lyrically but its smart and clever.
You two are turning into the new Cleo and Johnny Dankworth. Billy Rays sample has given you the feel but it really should have its own purpose built rhythm track. |

I do the writing and oldDog does the music. So that means you are on my Christmas List now, LS! x

Cigg’s voice is clear and clean as a bell - perfect for a jazz chanteuse -
and the arrangement is about as good as it gets….the sax a sweet touch. Those lyrics are dyno-mite and tell the age old story of the dilemma of the sexes from a unique and poetic point of view. I love it… |

Wonderful combination of talents but I would prefer it if you left some of the expletives out. My sensitive side is being bashed about a bit by the sudden introduction of the earthy grammar. Also it keeps bringing back memories of me gran who also had a fine line in the more graphical parts of the english language.
She was also a great singer but as she had gotten rid of Grandad years earlier by poor cooking and limited nooky unlike you she never had the delight of someone to provide beautiful backing tracks for her vocals. |

This is sublime you guys. Very Burt Bacharach with the sax line. But very oD and Cig.
Hang on to this girl oD! I agree with RT about the F word drops, it didn’t really need it and it curled my sensitive ears ;-). S |

Lovely track, with or without words starting with an ‘f’. It would be perfect for a saturday evening, but it also works very good for a saturday morning.

arggghh - you are so fricking ;-) skilled, I oscillate between quitting music altogether and sitting down to cram my 7-9-13s! I just flat out admire your compositional skills, arranging prowess and maybe above all, your mastery of chords. A welcome oasis for the ears!
And just between us and the whole wacky web (www), I can’t help being amused by a) comments about f-bombs on this site? And b) those comments being left for the lad who wrote the effing music, rather than for the lass who wrote all those favorite f’s. ;-) |
.
My comments were pointed towards Ciggi as she had confessed to being the lyricist.
Also they were slightly tongue in cheek or maybe foot in mouth. Peace and happy F****** |

Quote: … she had confessed to being the lyricist.exactly — it would therefore have arguably been more appropriate to leave a comment for CB in the comment page of her original upload, rather than here in the comments for OD’s remix. :-)

What a true pro you are, sir Dog.
I’m not refering to the cool, smooth and lovely arrangement and instrumentation but to the skill of the composition as such, the clever chord progression. Someone mentioned Bacharach, I fully agree! |

Ahhhh, mannnn! This is fantastic! What a great jazzy mix. The one petty quibble I have is that I’d bring the drums a bit, but otherwise, this is just great.

Zowie. After listening to the pella track, I was thinking what I may be able to add, then I heard your mix. Wow. I won’t even bother trying. This is great.
